XML Web Part custom propertiesNote You cannot view or edit any of these custom properties in personal view.
XML Editor (XML)
Use to enter XML source code into a plain text editor. Knowledge of XML syntax is required to use this editor.
Click XML Editor to enter or modify XML source code.
XML Link (XMLLink)
Specifies a hyperlink to a text file that contains XML source code. The two valid hyperlink protocols you can use are:
- Hypertext Transfer Protocol (http://)
- Hypertext Transfer Protocol with privacy, which uses Secure Sockets Layer (SSL) encryption (https://)
Note You cannot use a file path.
To make it easier to edit long strings, click Text Builder
.
To ensure you have typed the correct link, click Test Link to display the file in a separate browser window.
XSL Editor (XSL)
Use to enter XSLT source code into a plain text editor. Knowledge of XSLT syntax is required to use this editor.
Click XSL Editor to enter or modify XML source code.
XSL Link (XSLLink)
Specifies a hyperlink to a text file containing XSLT source code. The two valid hyperlink protocols you can use are:
- Hypertext Transfer Protocol (http://)
- Hypertext Transfer Protocol with privacy, which uses Secure Sockets Layer (SSL) encryption (https://)

to the right of the text box to expand it.
To ensure you have typed the correct link, click Test Link to display the file in a separate browser window.
