Delete a connection between two Web Parts

Delete a connection between two Web Parts
  1. Open the Web Part Page.
  2. On the Web Part Page title bar, click Modify Shared Page/Modify My Page, and then click Design this Page.
  3. From either one of the Web Parts for which you want to delete the connection, open the Web Part menu and rest the mouse pointer on Connections. Make sure there is a check mark to the left of the Connections command.
  4. On the connection type submenu, move the pointer over the type of connection you want to delete — for example, Provide Row To or Filter With. Make sure there is a check mark to the left of the connection type.
  5. From the available Web Parts submenu, select the Web Part for which you want to delete a connection. Make sure there is a check mark to the left of the Web Part name.
  6. In the dialog box, click Remove Connection, and then click OK.
